We are delighted to announce that the Football Supporters Europe (FSE) European Football Fans Congress will return in 2023.
#EFFC23, which will take place between Thursday 22nd June and Sunday 25th June, is to be co-hosted by the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) in North West England.
Members are encouraged to ‘save the date’ now as #EFFC23 promises to be the most expansive edition of the event so far following last year’s successful merger between FSE and SD Europe.
An even broader range of topics than ever before will be covered thanks to FSE’s new remit ranging from anti-discrimination and fans’ embassies to supporter liaison and fan ownership.
#EFFC23 will see FSE’s Biennial General Meeting (BGM) take place once more, which provides members with an opportunity to vote on and influence FSE’s aims, objectives, and policies, as well as to approve changes to the Constitution and elect members to the organisation’s Board. The FSA’s own Annual General Meeting (AGM) weekend will also take place in parallel with our activities ensuring a strong attendance from across Europe and the UK.
The EFFC has been an important forum for FSE members since 2008. Its purpose is to identify and address fans’ most pressing concerns through a series of workshops, panel sessions, discussions amongst the membership, and social activities, with representatives from European governing bodies and political institutions also in attendance.
We will publish further information, including the specific location and a draft programme, in the coming weeks and months so, stay tuned for further updates. In the meantime, if you have a suggestion for a topic to be discussed during #EFFC23, please feel free to share your thoughts by contacting us at: info[at]fanseurope.org.
